Last Watched - Jaane Bhi Do Yaaro

Ms. Saumya( I believe I remember her name correctly) of CL asked us to watch this movie while she was explaining the difference between satire and sardonic claiming that it is one of the best satire on Indian Politics. And now after watching this one I have just two words to say about this one Cult Classic.

With one of the best star cast including Naseruddin Shah, Om Puri, Ravi Baswani, Pankaj Kapoor(Man! I am a big fan of him. How can anybody forget his stint in Office Office!), Satish Shah, Satish Kaushik this movie called for a big hit but it became popular only after some time(As a matter of fact, the same thing happened with Shawshank Redemption too!).

Two simple man Vinod(Naseruddin Shah) and Sudhir(Ravi Baswani, who won the Filmfare best comedian award for this movie) after failing badly in their attempt to open a photo studio entangle themselves in the world of corrupt government officials and contractors. They take pledge to bring to light the wrong doings of all the corrupt and this is where the humor part starts.

The best part comes when all of them end up on the play of Mahabharta with the corpse of the former Commissioner(Satish Shah) playing the role of Draupadi and Vinod of Duryodhana. Instead of initiating the "Cheer Haran" part Duryodhana takes on to protect his "Bhabi" Draupadi thus turning the original Mahabharata upside down(Just for a thought, had something like this happened earlier the Mahabharata war would have never occurred in the history !).

Well this was a true epic and I believe should have been a true hit instantly. But every thing meets its fate, Ain't it?

Last Watched - A Beautiful Mind

I have read about Schizophrenia quite a time but never seen somebody suffering from it. But thanks to this masterpiece from Ron Howard I finally can understand the myriad hardships one has to suffer if one is diseased Schizophrenia.

However, as our protagonist the great John Nash aka "Russel Crowe" can't distinguish delusions from reality the viewers are gullibly made to believe the same. But half way through the movie as the drama unfolds and it requires concentration on the part of viewer to acknowledge the abrupt change in the plot when John meets Dr. Rosen and is put in the hospital with the title Schizophrenic.

The movie mentions the myriad sufferings one has to go through and also that Love stands by you in adverse conditions as well. The delusions as seen by a paranoid schizophrenic person are also put forward in the most relating way.

And I believe that this flick deserves better rating( IMDB gives it a 8). Well I would like to give it a 9 seeing that the abrupt change I talked about above could have been presented in a little more better way.

Last Watched - 12 Angry Men

Well, I figured out about this movie while I was surfing the Top 250 movies list at IMDB some days back.

The title "12 Angry Men" immediately stuck to me. I searched for its torrent, downloaded it and voilla today watched it finally.

This 1957 master piece by Sidney Lumet is at number 8 in the Top 250 Movie List at IMDB. The plot of the movie is pretty simple, the jurors must come to a unanimous decision whether this "kid" under conviction of stabbing his own father is actually a conviction or an acquittal.

Set in the dim light of a small room say 25 by 15 feet where these 12 men are locked to discuss the fate of this boy. As the conversation begins they go on to prove that why this movie has been named as 12 "Angry" Men. This man Davis aka "Henry Fonda" stands alone saying the kid is not guilty and go on to convince the remaining 11 of the same.

My Verdict - Awesome, deserves to be seen by everybody before they die( I kindaa mean it!)

PS: I also watched this much talked about Bollywood flick "Udaan" and "Fantastic Mr. Fox" recently, but didn't get time to put the plot in my words.

Recently Watched - Forrest Gump!

Hello my name is Forrest, Forrest Gump. This is the way the protagonist use to introduce himself to anybody he meets be it a Bus Driver, a shopkeeper and all the hell lot of person he meets in this movie. Well the movie is nice actually great!

The way Mr. Gump speaks, his facial expressions tells that he is not that smart a boy. But whatever be, he actually goes places. As he says miracles happen! So after being born with a crooked back bone and after being put on braces, he is actually able to RUN and RUN and RUN. What makes me emphasize on RUN is that he actually does a lot of running in the movie. He ran for some 3 years stopping only to eat, to sleep and to do stuff you know! ;-p

The movie is successful in discerning the immortal relation between a mother and a child. The protagonist finds so many people that he use to think about be it Bubba, Lieutenant Dan but the most important person in his life was Jenny. Jenny, the love of his life who messed her life so badly that she had to elope several time and leave the protagonist thinking and missing her more badly.

The best dialogue - "Mama always said life was like a box of chocolates."

In all a very good movie and deserves to be seen by everyone.

What to say about this! This has been on my song list since the time I started listening music(Ohkk! I exaggerated a bit too far!). But this is awesome man!

Where do you find such songs today? Barring a few, all the songs today are nothing more than sh*t! Maybe that's why I am not into listening songs!

Well Golmaal has remained at the numero uno spot of my movie list for the last say 7,8 years. I have watched this movie for 10 times and still I am eager to watch it again. This movie along with ChupKe ChupKe are epics. Nothing can beat these gems!

Talking about this song! Aana Waala Pal! There is such deep meaning in every word. There is serenity in this song. It's like every word wants to say something to you! You can actually relate yourself to this song!

Last Watched - (500) Days of Summer

Well I just watched this movie. And I would like to say just one thing - It's Awesome.
I have always wanted to see this movie ever since I downloaded it, but thanks to the Mid Semester Exams all my plans of watching this movie got delayed!
But better late than never.

The story revolves around the this tagline:

Boy meets girl. Boy falls in love. Girl doesn't.

This is not a love story. This is a story about love.

The protagonist Tom Hansen finds his dream lady in Summer. But alas he left the things to destiny and Summer ends up marrying the one who does not believes that things are meant to be. Rachel Hansen, though the little sister of the protagonist is a Relationship expert and Tom always looked towards her to decipher the thoughts of Summer he couldn't understand. Let me quote the best line of the movie for you:

The best way to get over a woman is to turn her into literature!

The rating of 8.0/10 is well justified! You gotta see it to believe there is nothing like destiny. Just like Tom gets to know when he meets Autumn.

Skyroads and the passion is back!

I remember playing SkyRoads when I was a small kid of 7 or 8. It was the time when my first computer just made an entry in the house. Thanks! Dad for bringing this awesome electronic item that today have changed the entire perspective with which we look at world. But at that time my computer could only support games such as Dave(Aah! This was too an awesome game) and Skyroads thanks to the limited RAM and the processor.

Recently I again downloaded this game and yes, I am again feeling like a kid. I have been playing this game madly. Forget the Mid Semester Exams, this game is more fun.

It might look like this game is a tad too easy but you will notice the difficulty and the passion required to complete this game once you try your hands on it. I just completed the Level 27(The Earth 3) on which I was struck for more than 3 days. The popularity of the game can be accounted by the fact that people have uploaded the videos of all the levels on Youtube.

There are still 2 levels to finish before I can proudly say that I have completed SkyRoads. But these two levels are the most trickiest ones as evident from the videos posted on Youtube. Lets see when I will be able to complete this game.

It's Deloitte!!

Finally got something to write about in months! Well read on!

It all started on Day 1 of 5th Semester, opportunity to get an Internship for Summer break after 6th Sem from campus. I had this in my mind when the holidays started but amid tension of joining an institute to prepare for CAT it was all lost. As a result I hardly prepared anything or I should say I didn't prepare anything.

As mentioned it started from Day 1 of 5th Semester. The first company was Amazon that came back to campus after three years(last time when they visited in 2007, they picked just one for placement and none for Internship!) but this time it was even worst, they didn't give placement to even a single student. As for the internship they shortlisted just 5 but after interview they didn't find any single student suitable for them. As of now they have asked these students to prepare as they will be coming back in January to take their interview again about which I am very skeptical.

After having hard time post Amazon(1 down!) it was Goldman Sachs turn. The thing that it was placed in the Super Category and took five for Interns last year plus everybody was offered a PPO enkindled the much needed fire inside. But again it didn't end up being my day. After not so good Written paper I ended up writing a good essay on the topic "Which one would you prefer - Job or Career" which I thought will equipoise the written exam. But it was not destined to end that way. 3 of my batch made it. Congrats Guys!

After being 2 down already there was a still a ray of hope as Deloitte and MS were also supposed to visit the campus within a week. Deloitte came on 16th and MS on 17th. The fact that written test of Deloitte was on the lines of CAT(lets call it Mini CAT) and I being already conversant(a little bit obviously, you say how? Read here) with it, I had this feeling that this is my chance. Also as getting an Intern at MS would not be anything less than a dream come true, I prepared hard for it. And the result was that I got shortlisted for both the interviews. But bang on! I got both of my interviews scheduled for the same day i.e 18th August. But nothing was going to deter me now, with this feeling high on me I prepared hard for the interviews.

18th Aug was nothing short of a fantasy day with some peculiar things happening all day long. Final result at the end of the day after waiting for almost 2 hours(it really demands a lot of patience!) was that I could not make into the final round of MS(I really need a strong kick for it as I blundered on a very simple question!) but no complaints as Deloitte did pick me for their Summer Internship Program(but I am still waiting for any correspondence regarding the next step.)

In hindsight I think that whatever happened was right for me, as when you plan to do an MBA in future interning at a consultancy and as big as Deloitte will certainly add to the much required experience. Ending this post on a high I would just like to mention that I am extremely happy!!

Recently Watched - Coraline

Hey Folks!!

Its been such a long time(a complete semester has passed), its not like I didn't get time to drop in here and scribble something for you all to read(Hoping that some of you really read the blog of this jerk!! Fingers Crossed), I didn't have much to write home about. What should I have written - about the protest at DCE regarding it's conversion to DTU, about the same insane teachers that were passed to us from the 3rd Sem of some even don't know how to pronounce even the simplest words(and Yes! we are preparing for CAT and in such a nice atmosphere Arghh!!), the cramming we had to do for at least 5 times in the last one month or so(Did you asked Why? Who doesn't want good grades that you can get by spitting the words you learned a few hours back!). Well enough for the frustration, lets get real!

This genre Animation has taken me by storm. After watching Ratatouille, Wall-E, A Christmas Carol, Monsters Inc., UP, Finding Nemo, The Lion King, Kung Fu panda, The three Ice Age sequels, this time it is Coraline(Oscar nominated stop motion 3D fantasy film)!

The movie is great, some 7.8 rating on IMDB, awesome effects, good concept, really nice dialogs of which my favorite is Wyborne - Why were you Born! The way the protagonist(Coraline) distinguishes the real parental love only after going through some serious problems(I mean business here) is the best part. The cat was highly informative I must say.

These guys are doing a great job. Hats Off!!

Hey Folks!!

Among the masses Delhi is famous as "Dilli" or equally popular as "Dil waalon ki Dilli". So here I am discussing the season the Delhities have a ball with. Let me start by saying that its damn cold here in Delhi right now. I am aware that the whole world is under the effect of heavy snowfall and as a result damn cold winter, with places like Calgary having -40 C maintained for a prolonged period.

But Dilli enjoys this season to a different level. Its equally popular among the Bollowood too with several verses written over it. I have in mind one of the popular song from Bollywood, it goes like :

Degeneration X - New Tag team champions

What to say about this. They beat Chris Jericho and Big Show in a TLC match and the result is they are the new Tag team Champions of WWE. The match was just awesome. Haven't seen such a good match. I had goose-bumps all over my body. I was literally shouting in front of TV Set.

The crunch moment was when Show had Jericho on his shoulders to remove the belt when they were supposed to use the Ladders. But no offence, Show destroyed three ladders with his foot. Finally, HHH supported the ladder with his hand and let HBK climb it up and the result followed.

Happenings in the last month!

Its been quite a long time since I dropped here. Believe me I am feeling quite bad to not let you know what things are going in my life. Never mind It's late than never. So lets start :

To start with Second Semester result came out at that time of the year, when it should not have been. Yeah! Tell me how many of you will like to see results of your last semester on the eve of first exam of third semester. Well, it was not at all bad for me ( though could have been better!! ). I scored pretty good 78 %. This takes my aggregate in two semesters to 73.5 %.
Third semester exams have finished way back. Its been 13 days since then. Exams went quite good. Hope to score better than the second semester. Lets see, if I can increase my aggregate.
Started the much awaited Entrepreneurial Journey. Proposed my(our) plan to FMS as well as DCE. Cleared the first round of IEC'09 but got a setback when our appointed mentor clearly stated the plan is not worth to have money spent into. He means that Venture Capitalist won't spend money in the business. It was hard to believe this, but Okay lets see what improvements can be made in the plan. From the DCE front, I am still awaiting any response.
It's been hard to spend the recent days. How can a person remain comfortable with a stye? It was a real pain. Hope to get over it soon.
Started the CAT preparation, obviously on my own without the help or guidance of any Insti. Planning to join it later in the following year. It was a tough decision to select how to spend the holidays fruitfully. I mean by learning any new language( there are still many remaining ) or spending the holidays scratching my head for the whole CAT thing. I know it is a little early, seeing that people start preparing after the fifth semester. But if you want to compete in one of the toughest exams around, you ought to start early, this is my theory.

Folks I have shared everything worth sharing that happened in the last one month. Hope to be frequent in my posting from now on. Tada for now.

Well I have always been a good painter since the time i was in class 6 or may be even class 5 ( I don't remember exactly..)..I was the one who was ready with his paint brushes when any exhibition was around the corner..
But since I entered class 10, everything took a break and yes my painting skills too..
But you all might be wondering by now Why the hell I am Discussing this..The reason is, recently i sketched some cartoon characters and they came good..

Howz lyf on your side...
Well, mine is going wonderful...Reason for that are enormous..To start with, the result of 2nd Sem didn't yet turned up.. :-p..Ha!! that should have been a reason for tension that it might turn up while i m writing this or you are reading this..After all it's been around 4 months now...Let's see when DCE official are going to break their lethargy..And publish the result...

Well, second is an obvious one for a Lover of Novels...Yeah!! I have finished one more novel, I too had a lovestory by some Revinder Singh...Wasn't that good a novel..But hardly matters when it takes hardly a day to complete it...The second novel of this month is pretty interesting..It's the famous The White Tiger by Arvinda Adiga (the same one who won the Man's Booker Prize in 2008)..Give me the honour to tell you, it's an awesome novel and truly justifies why it begged the Booker's..The language is awesome, with some mid blowing words(remember i told you, it help build the vocabulary..Another reason to read novels..) that we get to hear very seldom...

Third reason, is a bit of secret one..(No No!!Don't thing that thing..I m not into any relation.. :-p..Although why would you worry, if i m into or would you..).Let's keep it a secret(See..note my words, secrets are good for health, now just don't go and confirm any doctor..huh!!) which would be revealed once it is accomplished..Till then, try fiddle around the Title, it might be related...

Yeah!! Good to be back on blogger to drop a new post..Quite some time though (more than a month to be exact..) , but what can be done...firstly classes starting at DCE, and then suddenly Mid Sem fever..(yeah!!its more than a fever though...Its the time when registers are opened only to find some scribbling done here and there, and then running crying for notes to get into the two digits...).

Hah...Its hard but the fact that its only for one week(5 days to be exact..) pumps some confidence into the vains and then the much needed preparation starts..

Tried the Google Jam Code this year but it was all to hard ( or i should say...I didn't gave that much effort..Yeah!!believe me its not the losers word..) to be cracked or was it , I doubt it though...

One line for my love for novels also...Finished reading four novels within two months and around to finish my fifth...Names to be mentioned are :

Yeah!!Forgot to mention the most important phase in an undergards life(No its not the, placement time...P), its the CAT time..Its the fight to be one of the best B-School...Me being in my second year have started giving it a look..Joined Pagalguy.com (Yeah!!the said best site for MBA..)..Now thinking of exploring it to the best...
Well I also tried the CAT 2007 paper...Scored a good 140 marks(Not at all Bad for a newbee)...The thing that it was done at home, makes it not that important... It boosted my confidence and now m trying to solve more papers prior to getting my foots completely in this field..(In general, testing myself for my capabilities!! and prepare myself for the ramification..)

Well that was well i had for all u folks for now...would be posting more frequently now...

Its been over a month now since I left a new post..Yeah !!blame it on me, I was too tired to drop a new post in spite of sitting on internet for long each day..Sorry Folks!!

So to start with I would love to mention that after the 2 month long vigil DWD's work is there at its end..But that doesn't mean we wont be having work anymore..I just wished to convey that the proposed work for DWD in the vacations is ought to complete with more than 20 websites on the road to hit the net..

Well, I have a big news from DCE(oops!!DTU)..Yeah its DTU now..Its DELHI TECHNOLOGICAL UNIVERSITY now to be more specific..Well that's a big decision by the Govt. of NCT of Delhi to setup DCE as a University..And that would mean DCE is no longer a part of DU..
Is this good for the students(current or prospective) coz DU has got its name all over the world..I read somewhere that DU is at number 60 in terms of unviersities so that means DTU will take time to reach such a high position..

Well they are even planning to call it DELTECH on the mark of Georgia Tech..Interesting naa..

How did i forget to mention my best work till know..Yeah I have successfully developed a Content Management System (CMS)all alone using PHP and MYSQL as the backend..That was a big achievement..Its for the Digital Student Database and the DIgital Faculty Database of DCE(oops!! DelTech..I know this will take some time..) which is going to be launched soon..

Well! Today I was thinking “the people who make it to the GOOGLE are the luckiest ones on the Earth…And then I scratched my mind and thought of downloading some pics of the Google’s work environment, Guys, have a look wat I found…

We already knew that working for Google had certain advantages, but, believe me, this giant of the search motor takes the welfare of its employees seriously .. as shown by this decompression (stress) capsule that is impermeable to sound and light ...

Moving around: A slide allows quick access from different floors .. There are also poles available .. they are similar to the ones used in fire stations.

Food. Employees can eat all they want from a vast choice of food and drink.

Work Station: Each employee has at least two large screens. There are 4-6 'Zooglers' per office.

INOVATION: Large boards are available just about everywhere because 'ideas don't always come when seated in the office' says one of Googles managers.

LEISURE. Pool tables, video games etc. are available in many areas.

Did u liked the Google environment? Well i liked it very much...As i m doing B.E in IT, I will surely be trying my hand for the Google's job...

End Sems finished with a bang!!!

Finally the much awaited holidays have arrived and the sole reason for this is that the End Sem Exams have finished..I have successfully completed my second sem (Don't worry about the result..It wuld be fine..)..Wow!! wat a feeling that i m going to be a Second Year Student...
Now!! I am no more a fucchha...Instead new fucchhes will be arriving at the college...I will be called as a Sir..Aahh!!I can imagine it...It would be just great...
Oops!!I completely forget to tell you how my exams went...To start with i will say : 1 screwed , 1 thik thaak , and the rest 3 jhakaas...Don't u blame me for screwing one of my paper , it was solely because of the extreme toughness of the paper..Well to tell u the paper consisted of maximum questions from the topics which were left as a homework for us by the teacher..Well, It was a homework, we were never told to do..But had it been told to us, then also we will surely have not tried to do it...
Well!! One year of my life at DCE - one of the best institute in the country has successfully completed...Wait i have some of the photographs, I would love to share with all of u regarding my first year...But for the pics, u wuld have to wait for my next post...Till then, ENJOY!!!!

Hey guys...It has been quite a few days since i left a new post...Don't blame me for this...Coz the reason is very genuine...END SEM EXAMS...
Finally the torture of the end sem exams is about to finish (3 papers done,2 remaining)..But these will also soon end..And then awaits a full 2 month long holiday break...Wow wat a feeling thinking about the break...It just rejuvenates me , fill me with the power that i can handle the exams tension easily...

Well guys, i would like to tell u one very special thing..i m just loving the college lyf...Wen i took admission in DCE, i was told by my Maternal Uncle( Well!! Let me tell u he is very studious, after all he is a Ph.D from IIT Roorkee) to study daily, to avoid the tension in the last days as it happens with most of the Engineering students..

The thing is we like tension, we like burden..Wen we are under huge pressure, we are capable of performing even better..And i m loving this life, starting studying with just 5 days remainign for the big exams...and then studying till late in the night...Running behind the teachers to take the notes and also behind those studious ones( yaa!!the same ones who think they are still in a school and should attend all the lectures or the teacher wuld sue them..) to get their notes and standing outside the shop of Xerox waale bhaiya to get them xeroxed...

I m just loving this...Need i say more....Bye..

Have you ever thought of losing ur 10000 Rs. Well for the last one day, mine Rs.10000 was at stake coz I have screwed my beautiful cell i.e. HTC P3400 i..Well all that happened was, i was trying to upgrade my mobile from some site, not from HTC coz they dont have upgrades for my cell right now...Also i have read somewhere that if u want to upgrade ur cell, u should do it from here but if u wish to upgrade from HTC u will have to wait till u will be selling ur cell away and i didn't want that for sure..

I wanted to upgrade my pocket pc which is currently windows mobile 6 to wm6.1..So I downloaded the updating software and followed the procedure mentioned..It asked me to run a file named gene_hspl.exe on my device..After i did that I expected it to restart but to my utter shock the device got dead( in the sense it didn't boot again)...I ecame helpless, i was not able to think what to do know..
The following day i called up HTC customer care center and told them about my device's condition..They asked me to go to the service center and have my device's ROM flashed..And then i will be able to use my device again...Hearing those words got life back in me...They told me to go to Palam..Well this is only the problem with HTC Cells, they have all their service centres situated at the end of Delhi....
But i had no other option so I ran away with my brother within 1 hour...After reaching with so difficulty(we had to find that service center) what we come across is that the shp remains closed on Wednesday...(What the hell this is???)
After reaching back to my house, i thought of flashing the ROM myself..I searched all over the internet and found the method at xda-developers forum...Thanks a ton to them...It was only becoz of them i wa s able to get my cell back running...Earlier it became just a piece of brick...or u can say could only be used as a paper weight...

Got confused after reading the tag line. Well, I m trying to summarize an article which i read recently in TOI..I was dumbstruck reading the comparison made by the writer..
Lemme try to explain it to you..
The writer claims that life is just like a game of golf..During the game u would like to avoid the obstructions like the trees and the rough patches or the river, it is just like u try to avoid certain things in your real life...But the most important thing that made me think about it for quite a time was the writer's explanation of DON'T DO THIS? The writer says the mind is keen to work on the tag This rather than on the word DON'T..Due to this if there is slightest of distraction the mind will follow the this command and will forget about the DON'T thing...What a beautiful quote..Ain't it???
There was a hell lot of information in the article but i don't believe that my mind can store that much about a single topic...

End Sem Exams..

Guys finally the DCE Officials have broken their lethargy and finally published the Datesheet for the end sem yesterday afternoon...God knows wat they hav to plan before publishing it..They take so much of time...
Well I had given two of my practical exams yesterday and the day before it..Both were good except the PEE viva..It was just another big bullshit..I just don't understand why these teachers go into such a detail in asking about Electrical Engineering Concepts even from a IT student who is supposed to be good in Computers...
Well!!! I cn't help it...Finally I have made my mind to start study for the End Sem seeing that it just a week away...God Save Me!!!
I m happy to think about the days after the Exams ..I will be free for huge 2 months...Planning to join Gym this time and make some good muscles...

Finally the workshops of the DWD group have successfully completed..Today is project assigning day..Let me tell u wat is this project assigning...We will be assigning the projects to all the students who were there in the workshops...These projects will be used to selelct the good students who are eager to learn and will be teaching them more in the coming vacations....
Well guys!!I completely forget to mention the kind of response we received...It was just too good..More than 80 students each day and they were ready to remain in the lab till 8:15 without any problem....This was just too gud for us and it increased our moral...
Today i had my final Linux viva...Got the program to find the determinant of 4*4 matrix...Solved it and then gave the viva which was also good....

Finally!!The new dce.edu has been relaunched...

After a 2 month long vigil the all new dce.edu has been successfully redesigned and relaunched...
Or should i say,1 month hard work for designing the site and even more hardwork for the next month or so to get it approved by the director...Well guys hav a feel of it...

Nice naa...Well its the front page , more nice features awaits u at www.dce.edu. Visit today...I think this is the best college site one can hav matching the standards set by MIT...
This was a long procedure(making a good website)..Thanks to Medhavin Sir for developing the main idea...He is just too hardworking...He is currenly setting up a DWD group...
For this purpose we have been alloted a big conference room, a lab with more than 20 computers, posters for publicizing the group....
There is loads of work still remaining but i feel like it will be completed much earlier than the main sem examinations...Well guys hav a look at the DWD poster...

Hurray!! we saved the match...

I know its quite late discussing the second Indo-Kiwi match...But its better discuss it late than not to...So after the batting of more than two days India finaly managed to save the test mach and remain ahead of Kiwi's in the test series...It was quite a brilliant batting performance by India with all the op order contributing and that too according to the situation...But dearest Sehwag can never play according to the situation and showed that in the second innings too...He played a powerful shot but caught out....Its high time Sehwag should play according to the situation or else India will find themselves strangled in some very important match....

Today the third match started and we scored 375 or so for the loss of 9 wickets...Wih the tail scoring big after India was tottering at 204/6...Thanks a ton to them....Lets see how this match shapes out to be....

NSIT Fest : A Complete Waste of Time

Today I went to annual cultural fest of NSIT, Dwarka named MOKSHA-09...I reached there around 5:30 and to my amaze there was nothing big happening..there was just a small stage setup in front of their Computer Centre and some really boring competition going on...
There was another stage outside the academic block but it was completely empty wid Music System waale bhaiya shouting too much( Check check Hello Hello)...It just spoiled my mood...
Wen finally Mudra, a dance competition started rain played a spoilsport...It was raining heavy along wid fast moving wind...I and my friend just ran from their all our way to Dwarka Mor Metro...
I just forgot to mention I just met Paras Ajay..Yaah the lone IITian from my class...I was amazed when he said he is no more a bookworm and enjoying the college and most importantly the hostel life..But then also he scored 8.77 GPA as he told me ( I dont know wat a chap he is..)
And finally Metro added to the bad mood..The Metro was moving very slow wid stopage between the stations...It took me around 2 hours to reach home wen I could have reached atleast 40 minutes early...
Anyways it was just another boring day...

Worst fielding, Poor Balling despite a wonderful start, and now poor start in batting too...
All in a single day..Wow all that happened in a single match...Dhoni come back and rescue the team...I don't just understand wat happens to team India after getting a good start with ball why just they allow the other team to fight back and start declining down...
Is this something to do with Mahi..Is this bcoz he stands behind the stumps and backs the team every session...Aaah forget it...nobody can understand team India...BTW there is also a good saying "Everything that goes up has to come down"..as wat happened with Australia...but now they are fighting back(having win the series against South Africa...).
Well u know may be thinking is he such a big fan of Cricket..Let me have the honour to tell u all I am...I dont like missing any cricket match...

First of all End Sem result aa gaya..Scored fair 70% according to the credits...Secondly Mid Sems finished(well I told u about them..Ain't I??)..Thirdly redesigning of www.dce.edu has been successfully completed..New site supposed to be launched on 4 April as a bday gift to the Director..Well I can continue..(oh my God! So much happened in my life) and I didn't get tym to tell u all...Well sorry folks..I think I will be able to add new post frequently as I m quite free now..Wow! Wat a feeling azad..after such a long tym...Wait..I think my blog is not being visited by many..Why's that??Well I believe I write pretty good stuff...Those who r visiting please spread a word about my blog...I think this much I can expect from u all..Thanks..

Yesterday I had my PEE midsem exam which I completely screwed and today its Mech Science again a very lengthy and monotonous subject..
Well its currently 00:10 A.M and instead of studying, I m blogging..Well u know must b thinking he is again going to make a mess of his exam but dis tym u r wrong coz I just completed my course and as I was not feeling sleepy I thought let just talk to u all..
So howz u all..Enjoying ur lyf naa..Well take a piece of advice frm me(ofcourse it's free, and if u r too generous drop a comment on my post) for all who r feeling beaten up in their lyfs..Wen u find any situation that is hard to digest always think God must hav thought something for u..God always do good for others..Leave all ur worries to him as he will always be there to take tension for u, u need not take tension at all..Well I think I can go on and on coz God is eternal..(Now don't consider me a BABA, let me remain an engineer)..

10 tips to clear DCE Exam..

Shocked naa. Some of u may now be thinking that is it so simple getting into DCE wid these simple 10 steps.If yes, think again..And in any case if u thought no, then pat urself coz its quite tough getting into DCE seeing the amount of appplicants, more the applicants tougher is d selection procedure..
But since I promised a surprise, so I m telling u some tips which I used ( look m sharing a secret ) and which will surely encourage u and make u ready for d battle..

All d important formulas and good points shuld be available wid u everytime of all d 3 subjects. For dis purpose I used a small diary & was always carrying it wid me.(again a secret..)
Hav a tight sleep on d eve of d exam leaving all d tension of d exam behind.( I messed up my JEE Paper somehow due to dis reason). I kno dis is hard but road to success is always tough.
Before sleeping hav a light dinner and try to exclude oily stuff.
Rise up early in d morning and go for a walk to maintain a good blood flow.Avoid straining ur body by doing tough exercises.
Be ready to leave early to avoid traffic jams.Avoid leaving at 'xx:45' according to the Indian mythology(aah! that's one more reason of my messing d JEE Paper).
Go through d paper and relax if u find some very tough questions coz dere will surely be easy questions also.
Don't follow d pre-decided order to attempt d sections.Start frm d easy section and proceed to d tougher one coz u may get tensed in d tougher section than u will mess up d easy section as well.
Try and fill d OMR Sheet in d last 20 minutes but plz don't get engage in solving questions too much that u forget to fill d OMR Sheet.
Do maximum questions of mathematics to improve ur rank but maintain a balance b/w all d three sections coz u need to clear d cut-off of each subject separately.
Last and d most important tip can be to answer only that questions that u r confident of. Avoid wild guesses.

These are some simple tips and if followed can land u in DCE or in some other Engineering College as well.

I m being considered as quite intelligent as I made my way through DCE.I m being looked at to fetch some good placement..
I got associated wid d developments at DCE..I m currently a developer of d college website www.dce.edu.. I m a part of the college newspaper DCE-TIMES..I am also d global moderator of DCE FORUM which is a Discussion Portal for d students of DCE..I came in contact wid Mr.R.K.Sinha Sir during the designing of college website.He is a very helping and a frank man..

Getting into DCE!!!

First of all, I will love to tell u that my dad is fine now and improving..
Well I hav not completed my profile yet as u all may hav been wondering but will soon complete it as soon as I get time..To start off I will like to tell u that I m a DCEite (i.e a student of DCE ). Plz don't ask me what's DCE..For all those who may still ask what's DCE?? Lemme me tell u that its Delhi College of Engineering situated in Delhi as d name suggests..In the present scenario DCE is amongst the top 10 colleges of India..I m not going to tell u everything abt DCE..I will like to concentrate on how I got into DCE & how my lyf changed after getting into it..For the theoretical stuff u may visit www.dce.edu.
Well getting into DCE was not that a tough job although I was expecting a better rank ( Now don't ask my rank, I beg u.. ).For d admission U just have to appear for a written exam and according to the rank one is given the seat..The paper requires more of speed & accuracy, tym management skills than d knowledge coz u got to answer 180 questions in 180 min i.e. 1 min for 1 question and also d level of questions is pretty good..
Well I m ending this post now..will tell u all abt how mah lyf changed aftr getting into DCE in my next post..I m also planning a surprise for all d aspirants of DCE..I think u must hav got wat my plan is??If not keep visiting my blog for the surprise..

My Dadda(Papa) is not well..

Hello guys, I m back but wid a bad news..My father( I use to call him d-a-d-d-a, I just love this word and the feelings associated wid it to a great extent ) is ill, he is suffering from Pneumonia and also as he is asthametic, he has got an asthma attack which worsened his condition..
He is currently in ICU(for the last two days or maybe even more, I just don't remember anything right now, I am too tensed). I and my family just got mad wen the doctors said his life is in danger..
Thank God he is fine now and improving ( but still in danger, according to the docs coz they hav some basic laws or I shuld say some guidelines to follow and til they are not followed they simply say life is in danger). I don't understand are they nuts or something, coz inspite of giving support to d family members, they put them in huge amount of tensions..Now don't say u hav wrong thoughts abt dem coz u r an engineer or to be an engineer,one and d same thing..I have no grudge wid dem as I kno they are the one who can save a persons life nor an engineer..
Uuhh..where hav I moved wid my thoughts, I was describing my father's health and not having a debate b/w doctors and engineers...
Well I hav full confidence on God and on the docs, I kno he will be fyn soon.God please pity on us..
